Dr. Wu Fulai, male, born in Anhui Province in January 1965.

He is a Researcher at the Center for Ethical Studies, a MOE National Key Research Bases for Humanities and Social Sciences. He was selected as one of the Hundred Talents in Social Sciences in the 21st Century by the Beijing Municipal Government.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Anhui Normal University (1985), a Master’s Degree in History from Lanzhou University (1988) and a Doctor’s Degree in Philosophy from Renmin University of China (2001).

After graduation, he successively worked as Teaching Assistant, Department of Political Education; Lecturer and later the Section Chief, School of Economics, Law and Politics at Anhui Normal University. Then he took positions at RUC as: Deputy Director, President’s Office; Deputy Director, News Center; and Associate Professor, School of Philosophy. Afterwards, he joined the CPC General Office as Investigator and then Deputy Chief, Laws and Regulations Division, before becoming Section Chief and later Deputy Director and Associate Inspector at the Information Division. In June 2014, he was appointed Vice Chairman of the University Council, Renmin University of China.

He is the author of a number of books and textbooks, including Moral and Fortune; and has over 20 papers published.
