note:
The Ministry of Education initiated ‘Chinese Government Scholarship for Graduate Studies Project’ in 2008. Under this project, applicants from overseas could apply directly to RUC for the Chinese Government Scholarship. The Scholarship covers tuition, intramural accommodation, monthly stipend and medical insurance, etc.
International Students who are pursuing Master or doctoral degree at RUC or those who have been admitted to graduate programs at RUC after obtaining a bachelor’s degree or higher from any Chinese universities may apply to RUC for Chinese Government Scholarship for Distinguished International Students. The Scholarship covers tuition, intramural accommodation, monthly stipend and medical insurance, etc.

The Beijing Government Scholarship was established by Beijing Municipal Government to encourage excellent international students to study at Beijing. The scholarship covers the tuition fees of international students, fully or partially. International Students who are pursuing Master or doctoral degree at RUC or those who have been admitted to graduate programs may apply to RUC for this Scholarship. Students may apply directly to International Office, RUC.
Besides scholarships mentioned above, RUC also awards scholarships to international students on the basis of excellent achievement in academic or extracurricular activities.

Students in this program may apply for Confucius Institute Scholarship. The Confucius Institute Scholarship is established by Confucius Institute Headquarters, with a goal of encouraging students and teachers worldwide, who are studying and/or teaching Chinese as a second language, to study Chinese language and culture in China. Students qualified for the scholarship could apply to RUC for this Scholarship.
