China’s law-based governance forum, a series of talks themed thought on law-based governance, successfully concluded its first session in RUC on Monday morning.
The forum, where more scholars and leading officials working for law-based governance will be invited to the following sessions as distinguished guests, will have vital influence on the legal education and theoretical research.
At the inaugural session of China’s law-based governance forum, Prof. Zhang Wenxian delivered a keynote speech.
“Firstly, we should embed the law-based governance in the progress of politics, economy and society. Secondly, we should give full play to the role of law-based governance in planning, guidance and compliance. Thirdly, we should enrich the scope and depth of law-based governance.” Zhang Wenxian said.
Prof. Zhang Donggang, Chairman of the University Council, also attended the forum and exchanged views on shaping the independent legal knowledge hierarchy and promoting the construction of first-class legal disciplines.
