From October 2nd to October 7th, Zheng Shuiquan, Vice Chairman of the University Council of Renmin University of China, led a delegation to visit Belgium and Germany. During the visit, Zheng Shuiquan, attended Sino European conference on the establishment of the Confucius Institute at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. The delegation also visited other universities in Germany and attended the annual Confucius Institute Council Meeting. While in Europe the delegation also visited with RUC alumni, teachers, volunteers and exchange students in Europe.
Zheng Shuiquan attended the Sino European Relations and Sino European Connection Conference and spoke as the representative of China’s top universities.
While in Brussels, the delegation met with students from RUC studying at Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
The delegation visited Germany’s Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
The delegation visited Leipzig University, attended the Confucius institute Council Meeting and visited the Leipzig Government.
