Confucius Institute at University of Zimbabwe Takes Part in World Culture Festival

On September 21st, the World Culture Festival was put on in order to promote cultural interaction, understanding and diversity between different counties around the world. Lesotho, Nigeria, Malawi and other countries all took part in.

Confucius Institute at University of Zimbabwe, The Chinese Medical Team in Zimbabwe and Zimbabwe’s Chinese Chamber of Commerce all were part of the event, they showed traditional Chinese culture and modern medical technology.

During the event, volunteers from the Confucian Institute played Chinese tradition music and performed ethnic dancing, taught Chinese paper-cutting, put on a tea art performance and provided tea to the guest at the event.

Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Guo Shaochun, and his wife, Wang Wei, made an appearance at the event, and after thttp://rucweb-wordpress.stor.sinaapp.com/uploads/2019/09/image001-6.jpghey visited the different cultural tents, they gave praise to the wonderful performances put on by the Confucius Institute volunteers.
