On Nov. 12, RUC North American Alumni Association and other organizations sponsored “North American 2017 Mingde Forum to celebrate RUC’s 80^th anniversary in New York’s Rockefeller Center. RUC Vice President WU Xiaoqiu, Ambassador to China New York Consulate-General ZHANG Meifang were in attendance. Distinguished guests from China and U.S. in economics, finance, industrial, education, culturally experienced experts from 10 states across the U.S. all gathered together, a total of more than 200 people, to explore the new generation’s macro policies, investment strategies and cultural exchange.

RUC Alumni Office Director GUO Haiyan, RUC ChongyangInstitute for Financial Studies Researcher CHEN Chenchen, Mingde Alumni Vice Deputy Director WANG Yuting, and China Mingde Alumni Association Director, Peking University, Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, Fudan University and 30 other Chinese universities part of the North American Alumni Association attended the event. Xinhua Agency, People’s Daily, CCTV, China Daily, Economic Daily, World Daily, Phoenix Financial, and 20 other popular media and newspapers were also present.
